OBJECT: LM 2001.0622 – Alb St. Mary’s.
DESCRIPTION: Top is Belfast Altar linen. Drop is Limerick Lace. Tambour.
PATTERN: Monstrance; Dove of Peace, Sacred Heart; Cross; I.H.S.; Vine leaves and grapes;
STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES: Diamond net; Tambour needlework Pearl edge;
FIBRE: Cotton on cotton. The outline appears to be worked with four single threads. Top made in Belfast Altar Linen.
SIZE: 75 cm drop x 242 round.
COMMENTS: Several holes in net. Several repairs. Pretty good condition. Several small holes.
GIFT OF: St. Mary’s Parish.
