This is the result of the work of Friends of Lace lace conservation workshops that took place in 2018-2019 at the Limerick Museum, made possible by the kind support of Dr. Matthew Potter and by a grant received from Limerick City and County Culture and Arts Office under the Festival and Events Grant Scheme in 2018. 62 artefacts from the collection of the Limerick Museum were catalogued and stored abiding by textile preservation rules recommended by Rachel Phelan, textile conservation specialist.
