In 2022, with the support of generous funding from the Department of Arts (as part of the Regional Museum Exhibition Scheme), the Limerick Museum has commissioned the scanning of the 374 paper lace patterns in the Museum collection to be included in the online exhibition Tracing the Pattern of Limerick Lace.
We have obtained permission to share these patterns on our website, as they have the potential to provide great inspiration to contemporary lacemakers. Enjoy!
